Installation Guide

1. Install the Modification:
o Log in to your OpenCart Admin panel.
o Navigate to Extensions > Installer.
o Click the Upload button and select the “xxxx.ocmod.zip” file.

2. Refresh Modifications:

o Navigate to Extensions > Modifications.
o Click the blue Refresh button in the top-right corner. This is a critical step.

3. Set Permissions:

o Navigate to System > Users > User Groups.
o Click the Edit button for your user group (e.g., "Administrator").
o In both the "Access Permission" and "Modify Permission" boxes, find and check the box for extension/module/power_file_manager.
o Click Save.

4. Install the Module:

o Navigate to Extensions > Extensions.
o From the "Choose the extension type" dropdown, select Modules.
o Find "Power File Manager" in the list and click the green Install [+] button.
o (Optional) Click the blue Edit button to configure default thumbnail sizes.

5. Admin>Systems >Store>Edit>Edit Settings>Server, Tab:

o (Optional) If your file uploading keeps failing, make sure you have those file extensions allowed under these options >>Allowed File Extensions / Allowed File Mime Types.
o (Optional) If your file uploading keeps failing, make sure you have set Max File Size = 50000000, which is good enough to handle 50MB of file size.
o (Must have to) "php.ini", I have provided recommended php.ini file to support server-side settings for this extension, put this file in your opencart installation root folder *(where you have admin,catalog,image,install,system folders reside).
o (Optional) In some cases including mine, extension was not allowing me to upload files on the server, even after all of the above settings, in this case you need to contact your hosting provider and asked them whitelist “power_file_manager” extension in the ModSecurity.

User Manual

Accessing the File Manager

After installation, go to Admin Panel >(Below Reports menu)> Power File Manager > File Manager on the left menu.
Explained Interface

• Main Buttons (Top Right):

o Back [arrow up]: Moves one level up in the folder structure.
o Refresh [sync icon]: Reloads the current directory view and statistics.
o Upload [upload icon]: Opens your computer's file dialog to select one or multiple files to upload into the current directory.
o Create Folder [folder icon]: Prompts you to enter a name for a new folder in the current directory.
o Delete [trash icon]: Deletes all currently selected files and folders.

• File Browser Area:

o File & Folder List: The title of the main panel.
o File: /path/..: The path of the directory you are currently viewing.
o Select / Deselect All: Checkbox in the header to select all visible items.
o Search Box: Start typing a filename to filter the current view in real-time.
o Item Icons: The main area displays color-coded icons for folders and file types, or thumbnails for images.
o Folders have renamed (Edit) icon to rename folder name
o Files have Download and Rename icon to download file with one click and rename file including file extension.
